Introducing my 100% Irish Dexter Tallow Balm. It’s a blend of traditional skincare and Ireland’s best organic products. This gentle balm helps to rebuild your skin barrier and soothe inflamed or sensitive skin.
This balm is the perfect combination of two great Irish Ingredients: Certified Organic Dexter Beef Tallow and Organic Hemp Oil. Both are sourced from Ed’s Keadeen Mountain Farms in Wicklow.
NAMAWE’s top product, this balm, realizes my vision of Irish skincare. I wanted to create skincare-like-food for sensitive or damaged skin and partner with local farmers to cut waste and use the best organic ingredients.
My journey really began when I discovered a way of repurposing Mayo Tallow, salvaging from landfill by using in my soaps. My goal? To recycle local waste and boost sustainability.
I discovered that grass-fed beef tallow is a powerhouse in natural skincare. It’s also a high anti-inflammatory and collagen booster, rich in minerals and nutrients hardly to find all together in plant-base ingredients. That’s why this balm also serves the purpose of a topical Multivitamin thanks to their high content in Vitamins A, D, E, K and B12.
I pick organic ingredients for a reason. I value the care farmers put into their products. Moreover, using edible ingredients ensures safety. This balm is free from contaminants. It’s safe for the most sensitive skin, keeping the skin barrier protected and hydrated until washed again.
You can choose to combine this Balm with one of my tallow based soaps, like the Gentle Unscented Porridge, to keep your skin healthy and its barrier intact.
NAMAWE Dexter Tallow Balm helps you stay hydrated and nourished, replenishing your skin needs. Tallow from Dexter cows is creamier than that from larger breeds. This is due to their smaller size, more time outdoors, and a varied diet. The mix of organic Dexter Beef and Hemp Oil keeps skin “well-fed”, balanced and glowing. Safe for all skin areas, not clogging pores.
I choose to infuse this Hemp Oil with Organic Lavender and Chamomile, that helps to soothe and calm your skin. It alleviates dryness, irritation, and inflammation. Lavender renews skin, while Chamomile soothes and reduces inflammation.
